The Quiet House | Hand-Burned Household Ward Set | Made to Order

Made to order. Please allow up to two business weeks for completion and preparation for shipment. Each set is individually crafted, and the natural wood slices will vary significantly in shape, size, grain, and appearance. Please read the variation details below before ordering.

Create a quiet focus for your household rituals with The Quiet House, a set of three hand-burned wooden household wards for magical workings centered on tranquility, restful sleep, emotional balance, and the release of household tension.

The Three Stars, Water Ripples, and Spiral bring together intentions of rest, harmony, and unwinding. From the entryway to the bedroom, these symbols offer a tangible reminder to leave outside disturbances at the door and cultivate peace within the home.

Each symbol is burned entirely freehand onto a natural, unfinished wood slice, retaining its distinctive irregular outline and rustic character. Visible grain and natural markings make every ward individual.

The Three Wards

The Three Stars | Rest & Restoration

Suggested placement: Bedroom

The Three Stars represent peaceful sleep, nighttime rest, and restoration. Place this ward in the bedroom as a symbolic focus for magical workings centered on quieting the mind, encouraging restful sleep, and maintaining a peaceful nighttime atmosphere.

The Water Ripples | Calm & Emotional Balance

Suggested placement: Gathering space

The Water Ripples symbolize disturbances settling and stillness returning. Like ripples spreading across water before the surface grows calm, this ward offers a focus for intentions of easing household tension, encouraging emotional balance, and nurturing peaceful relationships in shared spaces.

The Spiral | Release & Unwinding

Suggested placement: Entryway

The Spiral represents unwinding and releasing the disturbances of the outside world. Positioned near the entryway, it serves as a symbolic reminder to leave the day's tensions, frustrations, and unwanted influences behind rather than carrying them into your home.

What's Included

• Three hand-burned wooden household wards: One each featuring the Three Stars, Water Ripples, and Spiral symbols.
• Printed instruction card: Explains each ward's purpose, suggested placement, and use.
• Cream muslin drawstring bag: For storage, safekeeping, or gifting.

These are placement wards. Hanging hardware and adhesive are not included.

Dimensions & Natural Variation

Individual wood slices: Approximately 0.98–2.17 inches across, with an approximate thickness of 0.28 inches.

No two sets will ever be exactly alike. These are naturally irregular wood slices, not uniformly cut wooden blanks. Shape, size, grain, coloration, surface texture, and natural markings will vary significantly.

Bark may be loose, partial, or absent. Its presence, amount, and condition along the edges will vary, and fully intact bark is not guaranteed.

You will receive the three symbol designs shown in the listing photographs. However, the size, positioning, orientation, and proportions of each symbol will be adapted individually to suit the natural surface of its particular wood slice.

Each design is burned freehand, not mechanically reproduced or transferred to create identical copies. The wood's natural character guides the finished artwork.

The photographs show an example set, not the exact wards you will receive. Your set will be individually crafted and will differ in appearance from those pictured. These variations are an intentional part of its rustic character.

Placement & Ritual Use

Position each ward within its corresponding household area, such as on a shelf, near a doorway, or in another safe and discreet indoor location where it can remain undisturbed.

As you place each piece, establish its intention for the space. Use the three together as a coordinated household working focused on releasing outside tensions, maintaining harmony, and honoring rest. The included instruction card provides additional guidance for placement and use.
