About This Piece

An approximately 2-inch black druzy agate sits at the center of a design divided into four fields. Straight lines represent intention and communication moving outward. Curved lines suggest impressions and information returning toward the center, while small marks in the inner field symbolize fragments of communication gathering around the stone.

The imagery is burned entirely freehand into the wood, with its natural grain visible beneath the design. Four black feet raise the stand above the surface beneath it.
