One of a kind. This piece will not be recreated in this exact form.
A handcrafted 108-bead Ritual Mala created for magical practices centered on fortitude, courage, endurance, resilience, and remaining steadfast through challenge and change.
Featuring 6mm and 8mm bloodstone, ebony wood, silver-colored glass seed beads, silver-colored metal accents, a metal guru bead, an original hand-burned Fortitude Seal, and a forest-green tassel with coordinated bead fall.
Designed to be worked one bead at a time, the mala may be used to repeat a prayer, petition, mantra, affirmation, or focused intention through a complete cycle of 108 beads.
The Work This Piece Supports
- Fortitude, courage, and personal resolve
- Endurance and perseverance through difficult periods
- Remaining grounded and steadfast under pressure
- Continuing forward through challenge and change
- Meditation, contemplation, and focused intention
- Repetitive prayer, petition, mantra, or affirmation work
The 108-Bead Structure
The mala contains 108 counting beads, preserving the traditional numerical structure of a full mala while adapting its use to contemporary magical practice.
Bloodstone in 6mm and 8mm sizes forms the majority of the strand, interspersed with 8mm ebony wood. Silver glass seed beads and silver-colored metal accents provide separation and rhythm throughout the design.
The changing bead sizes and natural variation of the bloodstone create a tactile rhythm that may also serve as points for returning attention to the work.
The Fortitude Seal
Beneath the metal guru bead hangs an original hand-burned mountain Seal, representing endurance, steadfastness, perseverance, and the strength to continue across difficult terrain.
The Seal is an original element of my Ritual Mala design and is not a traditional component of mala construction. It was drawn and burned entirely freehand without tracing, engraving, laser equipment, or mechanical reproduction.
Sacred Materials
- Bloodstone: commonly associated in contemporary magical practice with courage, strength, vitality, endurance, grounding, and resilience
- Ebony Wood: provides dark natural contrast and grounding presence throughout the strand
- Silver Glass Seed Beads: create subtle separation and rhythm
- Silver-Colored Metal Accents
- Metal Guru Bead
- Hand-Burned Wooden Fortitude Seal
- Forest Green Tassel with Coordinated Bead Fall
- Black Nylon Cord
Numerological Structure
The traditional 108 counting beads form the foundation of the mala.
Within the strand, the counting beads are arranged through repeating groups of 6. Within my practice, six carries associations with Water, peace, emotional balance, and remaining centered.
For the current of Fortitude, this structure emphasizes sustained strength: maintaining resolve, remaining grounded, and continuing forward without losing one's center.
Working With Your Ritual Mala
Begin beside the guru bead and move through the strand, one counting bead at a time. Each bead may accompany a prayer, petition, mantra, affirmation, visualization, or focused intention.
Upon returning to the guru bead, one complete cycle of 108 has been worked.
The mala may also be carried, worn, placed upon an altar, or kept within a sacred space when not actively in use.

One-of-a-Kind Craftsmanship
This Ritual Mala is one of a kind and will not be recreated in this exact form.
Bloodstone naturally varies considerably from bead to bead, with this piece displaying deep and muted greens, smoky, earthy tones, varied inclusions, and areas of red coloration. These natural differences are part of this mala's character.
The Seal is entirely freehand-burned, and the complete piece was individually assembled and will be ritually blessed before leaving my hands.
Care and Notes
- Handle with care to preserve the cord and beadwork.
- Keep the natural wood Seal away from prolonged moisture.
- Natural stone and wood vary in coloration, grain, inclusions, and patterning.
- Wear over time is expected with natural materials. If the cord eventually gives under long-term use, rebuilding services are available to return the piece to working condition.
