The Heartguard Talisman is a handcrafted ritual necklace created for guarding the heart without closing it. Rhodonite, obsidian, hematite, ebony, hand-burned wood, and symbolic metalwork come together in a current of emotional protection, healing, resilience, and discerning connection after hurt.

Rhodonite carries compassion, forgiveness, and recovery from emotional wounds. Obsidian provides a protective counterweight associated with grounding, truth, boundaries, and the removal of harmful influence. Together, they support a heart that remains capable of trust, affection, and devotion while becoming wiser about what it allows near.

Symbolism and Design

The central freehand-burned wooden pendant depicts a heart formed from a thorned vine. The heart remains visible and intact, but no longer without defenses. Its thorns represent boundaries and discernment developed through experience, not the rejection of connection.

Above it, a smaller oval pendant bears a single thorned branch, marking what may approach and what should remain outside. Below, an aged-gold-colored swan charm represents devotion, emotional bonds, grace, and continued connection to the heart. Its placement reinforces the talisman's central purpose: protection does not require the abandonment of love.

Numerological Structure

Built around a foundation of 4 through intentional repetition and bead placement. Within my working numerology, four carries the current of calming, banishing, stability, and protection through firm boundaries. Its repetition creates structure around the emotional work: what nourishes the heart may remain, while what harms, drains, or destabilizes it may be turned away.

Handcrafted and Consecrated

Both wooden pendants were individually burned and finished by hand. Natural variation in linework, wood grain, burn depth, stone coloration, and surface character is part of this piece's individual identity.

Every talisman is consecrated through ritual preparation before leaving my hands.

Care and Notes

Handle with care to preserve the cord and beadwork. Treat this as a handcrafted ritual object rather than a heavy-duty piece. Wear over time is expected with natural materials. If the cord eventually gives under long-term use, rebuilding services are available to have the piece restrung and returned to working condition.
