The hand-burned wooden pendant features flowing wave motifs surrounding an open center through which aged gold spacer beads are suspended. Inspired by the flowing wave patterns found throughout traditional Japanese decorative arts, the design represents the continual movement of protective currents, reminding us that true guardianship is never stagnant but ever watchful and enduring.

Both the talisman and accompanying bracelet are ritually consecrated before leaving my hands.
