The Pendant

At the center rests a hand-burned wooden pendant bearing a design of branching roots surrounding a hematite bead woven through its center. The imagery reflects the hidden networks that sustain life beneath the surface of the earth, where roots draw nourishment, waters carry vitality, and unseen connections bind living things together.

Suspended beneath the pendant hangs an anatomical heart charm. Throughout history, the heart has been understood as a symbol of vitality, animation, life force, and the sustaining pulse of living beings. Within this talisman, it represents the current that moves through all life, nourishes growth, sustains endurance, and carries living things forward through continual change and renewal.

Handcrafted and Consecrated

This piece is entirely one of a kind and will not be recreated in this exact form. The pendant was individually hand-burned and detailed by hand. Natural variation in linework, wood grain, burn depth, and surface character is part of the piece's individual identity. Every talisman is consecrated through ritual preparation before leaving my hands.

Care and Notes

Handle with care to preserve the longevity of the cord and beadwork. Treat this as a handcrafted ritual object rather than a heavy-duty piece. Wear over time is expected with natural materials. Should the cord eventually give under long-term use, this is considered part of the piece's natural lifecycle. Rebuilding services are available if you would like the piece restrung and returned to working condition.

Please note that some of the antiqued metal spacer beads are intentionally distressed as part of their manufactured finish. Minor variations, finish irregularities, and small areas where the underlying zinc alloy may be visible are normal characteristics of these components and are not considered defects.
